1. Do I need to register my child if he/she wants to attend Children’s Ministry events?

Yes, if it is your first time joining our Children Ministry events. Then, you will need to register your child to the appropriate programs through 2022-2023 Children's Ministry Registration Form

2. Is there a limit on how many children FLC can accept  for the Children’s Ministry events?

Sunday programs- there is no limit to the number of children who can participate in our Sunday programs. Awana- There is a limit to the number of children who can participate in Awana. Children are admitted on first-come-first-serve basis. 

3. What programs are available?

Nursery (under 3 years old): 

9:15 am Nursery will be open for self-serve only.

11:15 am Nursery ll be supervised depending on the availability of teachers and volunteers. Otherwise, nursery will be on self-serve.  

Sunday Programs for preschool to grade 6: 

9:15 am - 10:15 am Sunday School on Sundays 

  • Pre-K (Age 3-5)
  • Grade 1-3
  • Grade 4-6

11 am - 12:15 pm Children’s worship on Sundays

  • Pre-K (Age 3-5)
  • Kidz Church (Grade 1-2)
  • Kidz Church (Grade 3-4)
  • Kidz Church (Grade 5-6)

4. What should my child/ren bring to any of the Children’s Ministry events?

Children are welcome to bring their own Bible & personal stationery (scissors, markers, pencils, glue stick, etc…) if they prefer to do so. Otherwise, supplies will be provided by the church.

5. Will snacks be served during the Children’s Ministry events?

No. We will not be serving any snacks. Please bring a water bottle for your own children in case they are thirsty as we will not provide any drinks. *If any snacks are provided, they will be given to the child/ren upon dismissal.

6. Check-in and check-out for our Children’s Ministry events on Sundays:


Please check in your child(ren) at the check-in/out counter in front of the opening meeting area (new phase) using our check-in system. A label will be printed out for your child. Parent/guardian needs to take a photo using your camera phone of your child's label in order to pick up your child. We will text to notify you in-service if your child is needing your support during service. Please notify us if your registered emergency contact number is changed.

Children will worship as a group at the open meeting area and will be directed to the classrooms of their appropriate age groups for the rest of the lesson.


Only parents/guardians registered on the Children’s Ministry Registration form can check out the child(ren). Please show the photo of your child's label at the check-in/out counter in front of the open meeting area. Children will be waiting at the open meeting area for pick up.

7. Check in/out for Awana

Check-in/out at the desk outside of MPR/gym. Clubbers will wear their nametags during club meetings. 

8. What safety measures will be implemented?

  • Handwashing with your child(ren) before they join the class
  • Sanitation stations will be provided at sign-in area and in each classroom
  • Frequent cleaning of the classrooms will be conducted

9. What if my child does not feel well?

If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms, please allow them to stay home until they feel completely better.

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough or worsening of chronic cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of sense
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea and vomiting
