Lytton Update – July 28, 2022

As a result of recent wildfires near Lytton, many families have been displaced and there are again needs for supplies. According to the latest news on the Nohomin Creek wildfire, which is burning less than two kilometres from Lytton, officials said the estimated size is now more than 2,300 hectares.

We are partnering with several Korean churches involved in the Love First Nations Ministry (LFNM) to collect and deliver supplies to the Lytton area. Please check with the list of needed supplies and support us with your prayer and donation. Supplies can be dropped off at Fraser Lands Church. There will be regular weekly delivery trips to the area in the next few weeks.

Also please continue to pray for the weeklong summer program planned for the week of August 15 in 7 locations in Lytton by LFNM. We are monitoring the wildfire situation to make adjustments to the plan.
