Missions Highlight - Alicia Cheng

My name is Alicia Cheng. I am in grade 11 and I attend Richmond Christian School. Our school has partnered with Impact Ministries on a mission trip we will be taking from April 10 to 20th to Guatemala. We will run a VBS with their affiliated schools, worshiping, playing games, making crafts, with elementary and middle school students. We will also partake in a service project to serve the community in any way they need and learn about the culture of Guatemala.

As a privileged high school student, I have not had many experiences in third world countries so I am excited to see how God will work in me and through me during and after this trip.

Praise:

• Praise God for the people who work in Guatemala at Impact Ministries and who are preparing for our group of 25 people including students from Grades 11 and 12 and 4 teachers to ensure we can get the most out of this experience.
  
  
• Praise God for the ability to go on this trip and for the blessings from my family, friends, and youth at FLC.

Prayer Request:

• Pray that God would keep our group safe during our travel days and also while serving in Guatemala.
  
  
• Pray for deep transformation within my heart to see and understand God better after this experience.
