We will be starting a new 3 message series on "The Spirituality of Money". The bible does not teach us that money is evil; rather, the love of money is the root of many kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). And the bible is right. Because money plays a central part of all of our lives, we need to pay attention to the spiritual guidelines the scriptures give us when dealing with our money.

Remember to turn your clocks forward one hour before you go to sleep on Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time starts at 2am on Sunday March 10th.

Easter is coming when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It signifies new life and new birth. Our prayer is that the Lytton community will experience the actual rebuilding and rebirth of the village. Please join us in praying for the rebuilding of Lytton.

Our next Ministry Trip to Lytton will be on Saturday May 18, 2024, during the Victoria Day Long Weekend. Again, we have been invited to conduct our popular Children’s Carnival. This Carnival brings much joy and excitement to the local children. This year some young people from Newbern Alliance Church will participate in our trip. Will you consider joining us on this trip? As usual, it will be a long but meaningful day trip. You can register online or contact us directly.

Recently, the Lytton community leaders have identified individuals and families who fell through the cracks in the system since the 2021 fire. We are starting to gather a list of these people. Some of them are living in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley and some are trying to rebuild their homes in Lytton. We have offered to assist them. Will you make yourself available to journey with these people in need?

The Unfinished Story is a course that inspires and challenges every believer to be meaningfully involved in the world Christian movement. It gives an exciting overview of the biblical, historical, strategic and cultural aspects of God's mission and our part in it.

We encourage you to attend The Unfinished Story course. It will help us form a Biblical worldview that sees our participation with God in mission as both an exciting adventure and, even more importantly, what it means to be a true follower of Jesus.

For anyone who would like to either become a member of FLC or for those interested in finding out more about membership. Membership Class is this coming Sunday March 10th in Room 204.

The Worship Ministry is hosting a Worship Night on Friday March 22nd from 7pm-9pm and is open to all! Come prepared to meet with God and hear what He has to say through worship and prayer.

Alpha is for anyone who would like to explore the questions of life. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. Dinner is included and the cost is free for guests. On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
