Have you ever wondered what Spiritual Gifts are or if you have any? Come and explore what the Bible has to say about Spiritual Gifts. We’ll discover why we believe Christians receive Spiritual Gifts and how they should be a part of our Spiritual Practices today. For anyone hoping to explore their Spiritual Gifts, we encourage you to sign up for the Sunday School class.

The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving virtually or in-person with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. The Full Training Course is on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 1pm-3pm in Chapel. Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below. Registration deadline is May 2, 2025.

The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship by teaching you to communicate more effectively, understand each other's needs, resolve conflict, know the importance of spending time together, share goals, values, and dreams. Registration deadline is May 6th.

You’re invited to a special gathering filled with worship, heartfelt conversation, creative crafts, and delicious food. Take this opportunity to connect more deeply with others and enjoy a refreshing break from the busyness of everyday life. Let’s come together in fellowship, surrounded by the love and presence of one another. Come also to hear from Pastor Monique as she will be sharing with us.

If you are able, we will be collecting cash donations, at the tea, that will go to help The Born to Shine Summer Camp (hosted by Project Shine under Vancouver Urban Ministries).

Canada Summer Jobs Program is an initiative under Canada's Youth Employment strategy. CSJ provides funding to create job opportunities for young people ages 15-30 years old. As a result, we have two full-time summer positions available at FLC. Please click below for more info.

A fun-filled four day overnight camp where children engage in singing, drama, talks, devotions, crafts, and other exciting activities.

Age: Grades 1 - 6 (completing Grade in June)

Teens Camp is an exciting and spiritually encouraging 4-day overnight camp where youth engage with God, and with one another, through praise and worship, talks, devotions, water sports, obstacle courses, team-building games, and many other activities and experiences.

Michelle will be finishing up her time at Ambrose University in the Masters of Divinity - Pastoral Ministry Program this December, and is also finishing up her time as the president of the Seminary Student Leadership Team. Having spent the last three years in leadership, both in a church and in the Seminary, she has learned a lot about navigating leadership changes in intercultural contexts but has benefited greatly from all the experiences. She is wrapping up her time as a student and pivoting to finding a pastoral position in a church. She is excited for what God has for her in this next exciting and new season.

Elders Board Update
Berlinda Chan, Justin Chan, Joyce Chen, and Nicholas Lai were elected Elders for a 2 year term (2025-2027) at this year's AGM on Sunday April 27th. They will join existing Elders: Dominic Fung, Ken Lo, Hanson So, and Albert Tam with our Senior Pastor, Abe Chan, to form the Elders Board. Janson Ho and Lachmi Ma will be stepping down this year. We thank them for their many years of service.

A fabulous week of day camp filled with Bible lessons, creative crafts, joy-filled singing, amazing games, delicious refreshments, and lasting friendships. For children ages Preschool to Grade 6 (turns 4 years old by December). Registration starts May 2nd. Click here for more info.

VBS Volunteer Sign Up
If you would like to help out at VBS in August, please sign up here. Key station leaders still needed are: preschool craft leader, preschool sticky scripture leader, Grade school games leader, snacks coordinator.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up. Click here for more info.
