June 9, 2024, has been designated to be our church’s Missions Sunday. It will be a day full of activities that encourage us to participate in missions. This year’s focus will be on local engagement. From June 8-25th, a team of five Souljourners (young adults fellowship) students led by FLC missionaries, Jackie Wong and Sawyer Payne, will be going on an EDUPAVI Canada short term trip to visit and serve in Guatemala. While the main purpose of the trip is for the team to witness and respond to the work that is being done there, they will also be integrating into the elementary and middle school programs -  teaching English, devotions, youth activities and parent workshops. Please pray for a Spirit-led learning process, for safety, and for hearts transformed for His Kingdom.

Fraser Lands Church is seeking a temporary part-time Children's Ministry Assistant to fill in for support staff on leave. The position is from June to November 2024. The applicant should have a passion working with children, families and volunteers. He/she will assist in the implementation of ministry events and activities to help children grow in their faith and partner with parents for discipleship of their family. He/she will also assist the Children's Pastor and provide administrative assistance and support that includes all aspects of Children's Ministry. Job duties are listed as guidelines and may be modified at any time to accommodate the needs of the ministry area.

Teens Camp is an exciting and spiritually encouraging 4-day overnight camp where teens engage with God, and with one another, through praise and worship, talks, devotions, water sports, obstacle courses, team-building games, and many other activities and experiences.

Age:  Grades 7 - 12 (completed in 2024)
When:  June 28 - July 1, 2024
Where:  Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre, Thetis Island
Cost: Regular $420 (May 19-31)
