For Joseph, Christmas looked like bad news. His fiancé, Mary, left town for three months and came back pregnant. As he dwells on what to do an angel appears in a dream with the message that this baby is from the Holy Spirit. Christmas is from the Holy Spirit; the wonder of Christmas has the smell of the Holy Spirit. He gives us Christ as a gift.
