Gala for GuatemalaSaturday, July 27, 2024 | 7pm Souljourners is excited to invite everyone at Fraser Lands Church to "Gala For Guatemala", a night put together by the team of college-aged students from FLC that went on a short-term mission trip in Guatemala last month. Throughout the trip, they have reflected together as a team and have spent time thinking about what God has put on their hearts as they took part in His Kingdom work. Explore the Questions of Life TogetherWednesdays, Sep. 11 - Nov. 27, 2024 | 6:30pm Everyone has questions about life. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering? Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in safe, low-key, relaxed environment. Each interactive session includes dinner, a short film, and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. You are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. Dinner is included. Cost is free for guests. Alpha starts September 11th and runs for 12 Wednesday evenings. Come yourself or invite a friend and come with them! For more infomation visit:

Would you like to serve at Alpha?
We are looking for volunteers to help run Alpha. We cook and prepare each meal for 12 weeks, set up a dining space for guests to eat and enjoy the film and have table discussions all done by volunteers! Please prayfully consider serving in this 12 week long ministry to outreach to those in our community and beyond. The roles we are looking for are food prepration, dessert makers, table discussions, greeters and sign-in, setup, A/V, worship, and book table. Missions Highlight - The Republic of Congo
From July 14th - August 3rd, Pastor Xavier Law will lead a team of 12 members from various cities across Canada and go to Ouesso in the Republic of the Congo. The majority of the time, on weekdays, they will be supporting New Sight Congo by assisting in the set up of the Ouesso Eye Hospital for their 2025 goal of being fully operational (https://www.newsightcongo.com). On weekends, the team will be supporting the local church through sharing messages in worship and running programs for children. Please pray for the safety as they travel to Congo and for team unity as they serve together with New Sight Congo. Lytton Ministry UpdateRiver Festival – Saturday August 31 We are gearing up for our next Ministry Trip on Saturday August 31, 2024. Again, we have been invited to help out in the Lytton River Festival. This year is the festival’s 20th anniversary and it will be held for the first time after the fire in the village centre! Teens Summer Program 2024Tuesdays July 2 - August 27 | 12:30pm-2:30pm The Teens Badminton and Volleyball Summer Program is a free drop-in for teenagers aged 12 to 18 years old to have a place where they can have fun playing badminton and volleyball with friends and make new friends. Badminton and volleyball alternate weeks every Tuesday. On the weeks where there is badminton, please bring your own racquets. Click below for more info and to register.
