Continuing on the “Everything By Prayer” Sermon Series, this week’s message will explore what it means when God tells us “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”. God calls us to view prayer as our first response, not our last resort. He designed prayer as a powerful spiritual weapon for us. God reminds us over & over that He responds to our prayers and that our prayers can change circumstances.

MOMENTUM will be having our once-a-month sports get-together for men in the Multi-Purpose Room this Sunday. Men of all ages are welcome to attend and participants are encouraged to invite a friend! We will be playing pickleball this Sunday. Please register below.

Due to changes in national policies since 2025, the operational approach for CRRS’s educational projects in Guangxi, China, has adjusted accordingly. Praise God that in November 2025, we were able to visit our friends in China through personal travel. As for me, I have shifted my focus away from administrative duties, freeing up more time to cultivate deeper bonds with several friends. Please pray that as these connections are built and deepened, the seeds of the Gospel will be sown, take root, sprout, and grow. As we plan the operations for CRRS’s 2026 educational projects, pray that God will grant us wisdom, and that we will better listen to and obey His guidance. (Click below to read more)

Please consider joining the Lytton River Festival Ministry Trip on Saturday September 5, 2026. As usual it will be a long but meaningful day trip. There will also be a training/prayer session for participating members on Sunday August 30th from 1pm to 3pm.

Alpha is a 12 week series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. You can ask questions and share thoughts in a warm small group setting, enjoy food with new friends, watch engaging short videos together to spark conversation, and explore Christianity with no pressure. Canadian Blood Services is hosting a blood donation event at Fraser Lands Church and a blood donation centre will be set up in the Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday August 18, 2026 for our surrounding community to come and give blood.
