For the month of August, the children & teens will be joining the adults at worship service as part of our "Summer Family Services". There will be a kid's moment during service each week. We will have some activity booklets and tables set up for the younger ones located up in the balcony. There will be no Children's Sunday School & Kidz Church at 9:15am & 11am in August. The Nursery will be open for self-serve only at this time.

Fraser Lands Church's Youth Ministry will be conducting a trial amalgamation of teenagers into the English Service from September to December. This initiative aims to foster deeper intergenerational worship, drawing on research that indicates such integration leads to greater faith maturity and a stronger sense of belonging. Our goal is to cultivate an inclusive environment where all generations can worship, learn, and serve together, empowering our youth in the process.

To evaluate this trial and our current programs, surveys for both teens and parents will be distributed in August and again in November.

Important Dates and Information:
- Annual Parents Night: Pastor Nathan will host this event in September.
- Q&A Session: Pastors will hold a Zoom Q&A session specifically about the amalgamation. Details regarding this session will be announced shortly.

Our next ministry trip to Lytton will be on Saturday August 30 during their 21st annual River Festival. We will again be serving the community by holding a Children’s Carnival. An orientation/training session is scheduled for Sunday August 17 from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. 

There is always a need for blood donations. Giving blood is a tangible way the Church can serve our community.

Canadian Blood Services is hosting a blood donation event at Fraser Lands Church and a blood donation centre will be set up in the Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday September 2, 2025 for our surrounding community to come and give blood.

The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person on Sunday September 7, 2025 at 1pm-3pm. Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual Refresher Course. Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below. The registration deadline is Friday September 5, 2025.

Join us for an evening of campfire-style worship! It will be a night of free worship where you can direct yourself through the various stations of prayer, art, communion, and time with the Word. You can also bring your own elements (like a sketchbook or journal) to use in the space created. All are welcome!"

If you have ever wondered if God still speaks today or how to hear His voice, then we invite you to join us for the Hearing God Seminar! We will explore this question and more. It is one of the most important practices of the Christian walk and it can help you experience and connect with God at an even deeper level.

Everyone has questions about life. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering? Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in a safe, low-key, relaxed environment. Invite a friend to explore these questions together! Each interactive session includes dinner, a short film, and a discussion. Cost is free for guests. 

Alpha starts September 24th and runs for 11 Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:45pm. Click below for more info or to register.

Worship Workshop Series
As God has generously given us gifts and talents, and we believe it's our responsibility to steward them by improving upon it and investing in growth. Join us as we learn from each others' expertise and grow together. Even if you are not currently actively serving in a worship capacity but are curious or seeking to develop in these areas, you are welcome to join!

Serve at Alpha
We are looking for volunteers to help run Alpha. We cook and prepare each meal for 11 weeks, set up a dining space for guests to eat and enjoy the film and have table discussions all done by volunteers! Please prayfully consider serving in this 11 week long ministry to outreach to those in our community and beyond. The next Alpha will run from September 24 - December 3, 2025.

The roles we are looking for are food preparation, dessert makers, table discussions, greeters and sign-in, setup, A/V, worship, and book table. Sunday Parking Reminder
