"A Discipleship Journey: Teach"

To disciple means to intentionally mentor, guide, and teach someone to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus. We teach Jesus; we model Jesus. We mentor; we apprentice. We journey with others as we follow Jesus together. But what is it that we are to teach others as Jesus' disciples?

We can express the love of God in concrete and tangible ways. This year we are inviting small groups, families, and individuals to sponsor Christmas Hampers in support of two ministry areas.

"Help for Lytton" and "Vancouver Urban Ministries (VUM)"

You can choose to support one or both. Please join us in supporting these ministries and the families they serve. Click below for more details about hamper instructions, box pick up and drop off dates.

Join us as we gather for worship, reflection, personal prayer time, and corporate prayer for important needs and issues. Lunch will be available beforehand at 12:30pm in the Banquet Room for those who have signed up. You are also welcome to join us in the Banquet Room if you prefer to bring your own lunch or join us at 1:30pm in the MPR for the Prayer Summit.

Funfest is a safe and fun alternative for children on Halloween Night. This is our annual carnival filled with games, prizes, and food for kids from ages 3 to 12 years old. A spectacular evening that your children will be sure to enjoy! Tickets required. Please click below for more info.

For anyone who would like to either become a member of FLC or for those interested in finding out more about membership. The registration deadline is Sunday October 25th.

Family Ministries is organizing a new gathering and opportunity for parents of young children (primarily for, but not limited to 0–6yrs) to meet and get to know one another. Bring-your-own-lunch and eat together in a relaxed, informal setting. Both new and long-time families of our church are welcome to join! Our next gathering will be on Sunday, Nov. 1 from 12:30-2:30pm in the Banquet Room. Click below for more info or to sign up.

Invitation to FLC small groups and fellowships to participate in our annual evening of Christmas tree decorating at the church. If your group is interested in reserving a Christmas tree to decorate, please contact Albert Chan (albert@fraserlands.ca) by Sunday Nov. 8th.

We warmly invite the brothers and sisters of Fraser Lands Church to participate in our annual clothing drive, organized by the Love Our Neighbors Cantonese Small Group in support of NightShift Street Ministries — a Christian non-profit that has been serving people experiencing poverty, addiction, and homelessness in Surrey since 2004. Through our clothing donations and monthly meals, we help NightShift continue providing clean, warm clothing and nourishing food, enabling our neighbours in need to endure another cold and hungry night with dignity, hope, and care.

Staff Updates
As Pastor Nathan Sun and Christy are expecting their first child in early November, he will be going on paternity leave from Nov. 1 - Dec. 31, 2026. Let us continue to keep them in our prayers as they welcome this blessing from the Lord!

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
