With anxiety and uncertainty all around us, God invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer. Due to changes in national policies since 2025, the operational approach for CRRS’s educational projects in Guangxi, China, has adjusted accordingly. Praise God that in November 2025, we were able to visit our friends in China through personal travel. As for me, I have shifted my focus away from administrative duties, freeing up more time to cultivate deeper bonds with several friends. Please pray that as these connections are built and deepened, the seeds of the Gospel will be sown, take root, sprout, and grow. As we plan the operations for CRRS’s 2026 educational projects, pray that God will grant us wisdom, and that we will better listen to and obey His guidance. (Click below to read more)

Please consider joining the Lytton River Festival Ministry Trip on Saturday September 5, 2026. As usual it will be a long but meaningful day trip. There will also be a training/prayer session for participating members on Sunday August 30th from 1pm to 3pm.

Alpha is a 12 week series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. You can ask questions and share thoughts in a warm small group setting, enjoy food with new friends, watch engaging short videos together to spark conversation, and explore Christianity with no pressure. This year, our Awana ministry is looking for 8 new volunteers to join our team so we can continue welcoming and discipling the children God brings to our church community.

Whether you are a student, young adult, parent, empty nester, or grandparent, there is a place for you. You don't need to know all the answers or even how to teach. Sometimes ministry looks like listening to a verse, cheering during game time, helping a child find their handbook, or simply being another caring adult in their life. We will provide training for all leaders and ensure you feel supported as we walk alongside you to disciple children to know, love, and serve Jesus.

If God is prompting you to serve, or if you'd like to learn more, please speak with our pastors or Awana Ministry Directors. We are praying for eight people whom God is already preparing for this ministry.
