A weekly club that focuses on memorizing God's Word. Clubbers earn awards to wear on their uniforms and receive ribbons and plaques/trophies at the end of the club year for their hard work.  The children also participate in exciting games, sing songs, share with one another, do occasional crafts, go on outings, and build long lasting friendships.

Awana Club meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for young people! Trained leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real and that He loves them.

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth". - 2 Timothy 2:15

1. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Once the individual age group clubs is full for your child please register for the appropriate waitlist. Registering for the waitlist allows us to plan and open spots where possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a spot for all the children on waitlist but we will let you know if and when a spot becomes available.

There are TWO registration forms that must be completed to register for Awana this year. One is the Children’s Ministry Form and the other is the Awana specific registration form. Please ensure that you complete both forms whether you are simply registering for just Awana or additional programs as well.

2. Awana Attendance Policy
Our leaders volunteer their time each week to support and run our Awana program. To be accountable to them and the children on waitlist as well as be good stewards of the resources God has given us, Fraser Lands Awana Club follows the following attendance policy.

The following may result in the loss of your child’s place:

  • Missing three (3) consecutive club nights at any point in the year without notification.
  • Missing more than five (5) club nights in total in the year without notification or a reasonable excuse. If your child’s absences meet the criteria outlined above parents will be contacted and  the space may be given to someone on the waitlist.

3. Zoom Meetings
As part of our Awana Zoom Meetings, please expect to find weekly lessons, activities, and discussion on Zoom. Zoom Meetings will be on Saturday Night at 7pm for Cubbies and 7:15pm for Sparks & T&T.

Attendance will be taken during these Zoom meetings and the attendance policy will apply just as it would if we were meeting physically at club. This will help clubbers transition back to meeting in person.

4. Verse Memorization
While on Zoom, Clubbers are still encouraged to complete their weekly verses at home with their parents.

For Cubbies, we encourage clubbers to complete 1-2 sections per week. Sparks are encouraged to complete 2-3 sections per week as this will allow time for completion of their frequent flyer handbooks.

T&T clubbers will complete the assigned sections for each club week.

We ask that children memorize their verse to their parents. As per award standards, two helps (ie. hints) are allowed per sections  Parents will then  email us once per month with a list of completed verses.

Once we resume in person club, clubbers are to learn and practice their verses at home with week with their parents. There will be assigned club time for clubbers to memorize their learnt verses to leaders.

5. Handbooks and Uniforms
Handbooks and Uniforms will be available for purchase at the start of the Awana Year. We will organize a drive thru time for pick up of handbooks and uniforms at the start of the Awana year. The drive thru is currently scheduled for Wednesday September 22nd.

6. Cost
There is a $10 registration fee for Awana. This amount will be collected in September along with handbook and uniform fees. More details will come in September.

7. AWANA Kickoff
